Perspective, 2018

There is a saying in my country, “Do not look at people through colored glasses”. It is trying to urge people from judging others before knowing them. Inspired by this sentence, I made an installation presenting that all things could have different explanations when looking from different perspectives.

The looping optical illusion images represents that it takes time for prejudiced people to realize the contradictions leads to biased judgments. Viewers would see different images by using the RGB theory when they look through the acrylic boards which indicates different viewpoints.
